Hi everyone, Tiff here. I hope the start to the new year has found you well and that you have had time to sneak in a creation or 2 here and there. I would like to share with you a layout from the new Bo Bunny range, I adore it so much and it can suit boy or girl themed layouts, so, so pretty. I have always loved the Bo Bunny shaped paper and this time is no exception. The trims are to die for as well.

I just love the bright fun cheerful papers that My Little Shoebox has brought out...

I have had the pleasure of work with the SIMPLE LIFE COLLECTION...great for farm or animal photo's

The above is a double Layout I had too many photos to do a single layout once again I have 3D some of the shapes to make them look as if the are popping out of the page.

These papers are fun to work with it's amazing what you can do cutting out the shapes and just adding something as simple as 3D foam...

Donna Salazar Layouts

Just a quick post to share a few layouts using the gorgeous Donna Salazar paper ranges that are available at Bumble Bee Crafts now.

And because I use these flowers all the time on my layouts, I thought I'd show you how quick and easy they are to make, so you can try for yourself if you haven't already :):):)

Take your favourite paper, in this case I have used Donna Salazar to match my layout. Take any flower punch you have in your stash, the size doesn't really matter too much.

Punch 5 flowers from the paper.

Pierce a hole in the centre of the 5 flowers using an awl or even just a regular metal skewer does the trick just as well.

Insert a brad to match your colour scheme. I adore these pearl brads and use them all the time as flower centres.

Close it off at the back to make it secure for scrunching and then you can open it again when you go to attach it to your project.

If using heavyweight cardstock, I always like to use some water to soften and it makes scrunching so much easier and the end result more rose like too.

Scrunch each layer and remember, you can't scrunch too much LOL.

The end result will resemble something like this, but all flowers in nature are different, so don't worry too much how different it appears.

Above is a simple easel card I have cut the banners out of the Summer Breeze Sun Kissed paper added some flowers, buttons and a word from the mini-alphas pack and you have yourselves a card

Above is an Off The Page Project...I brought these embroidery hoops a few weeks back wanting to do a Christmas Decoration with them but when I saw this collection I like the bright cheery colours rather than Christmas..

I have built up all of the papers and embellishments on Calico...this make for a fun wall hanging

It's been along time since I have done a layout on a pattern piece of paper I generally stick to white and Kraft cardstock...These papers went well with my family photo's due to the variety of colours...

A NEW YEAR...NEW BEGINNINGS

There have been alot of changes at Bumble Bee Crafts new and exciting ones....and what better way to kick of the new year than with some creative inspiration..

Donna Salazar is one of Bumble Bee's newest lines..

Here is a layout and a double tri-fold card using her Artistic Winter papers and her Weathered Winter range

These new paper ranges are PERFECT for the cardmaker and scrapbooker with her Artistic ranges you can get even more creative by adding water colours, chalks and even blending pens

To make the above card you will need

2 x 15cm x 30cm

2 x 15cm x 10cm

2x 15cm x 15cm

With the first 2 you have cut (15cm x30cm) you will need to score at 2" 4" 8" and 10"

then length ways cut 1 " in from the 2" up to the 10" then concentina fold) this may take a little bit of fiddling around to get it to sit right do this to both pieces of paper

The 2 pieces that are cut 15cm by 10cm are used to join the two that you have just folded ...

Place one on the top of the two that have been folded and one on the bottom this will join them to make one huge double tri fold card the centre will be able to hold a 6x4 photo

the last two pieces that have been cut 15 cm x15cm will be used for the front cover you will need to score them both at 2" and fold

These are then attached to the front of the double tri-fold card glue along the 2' fold and attach....the inside of the cover is big enough to put a 6x4 photo

Once it is all put together it's time to have some fun and DECORATE..

This is great for a card or even a mini-album.

The above layout is on Decorating my Christmas Tree and as per usual I have way to many photo's that I wanted to scrap so I ended up making the base of an exploding box to attach to my layout ( You will need a 12x12 piece of cardstock divide into 3"x3" squares you should have 3 rows or 3 once this is done cut out the 4 corners once this is done fold into a small sqaure...decorate and you are done)

Here are some more single Tri-fold cards and Double Tri-Fold Cards that I have done...the possibilities are endless with what you can do. The papers I have used of the below cards are 3 Bugs Tool Time.

There have been lots of changes at Bumble Bee Crafts over the last couple of months one of the major changes is the new owners of BBC Trish and Trevor between the two of them they have many NEW and EXCITING ideas for Bumble Bee and myself along with Tiff Sawyer are very excited to be along for the ride on the new chapter of Bumble Bee Crafts...

Trish is married to Trevor (Nurse Manager and Paediatrics/Midwife Nurse) and they have 4 wonderful children Tevan 10, Kyarnin 8, Leticia 7 and our new little one Keleeshia 5 months. They have been in the Retail world for over 18 years from groceries to craft.

One of the many new things to happen at BBC is the NEW Donna Salaza papers www.donnasalazar.com ) as we are the new exclusive distributor of her papers in Australia and New Zealand.

I have a few pictures to share from SIA. There should be more I know, but I wasn't exactly snap happy with my camera :(

I was too busy soaking up all the magic hehe.

I swear she is the sweetest and most easy going person you would ever meet, just so fabulous to talk too :):):)

This was some of Cindy's wonderful work on display in our Booth, isn't it wonderful?

Silly me, didn't think to take any pictures of my work up in the booth, so instead I thought I'd share some pics of me teaching my class. It was so much fun and I can't wait to do another one again next year should I be lucky enough to.

And some quick layouts and cards I did with the new 3 Bugs In a Rug - Animal Stackers.

And some more yummy My Little Shoebox to share.

And these were a few little projects I whipped up using some My Little Shoebox designs. So quick and easy and can be used as album covers, mounted on canvas for the wall or lovely cards.

I have had the pleasure of playing with some of the NEW Three Bugs , Karen Foster and Bo Bunny ranges..

It's Tiff here and myself and the lovely Cindy are really going to get this place buzzzzzzzing (get it? These SBLC Chipboard frames are a great way to scrap lots of photos are that 1 special photo...To do a multiple photo layout just place you photos on the chipboard squares and cut it's as easy as that and with a few little embellishments you will have your very own masterpiece to have either in an album or hanging in a frame on the wall.

The fairy was painted in Making Memories paints then a coat of dimensional magic was applied while it was still wet glitter was sprinkled over the top.

Here is some inspiration for you to scrap some of your favorite photo's

The above layout is using a SBLC chipboard frame....I love using frames to scrap my photo's the possibilities are endless with what you can do...Products used in this layout are Making Memories Mistletoe papers, Bumble Bee Crafts Tags, Crafty Secrets Christmas Stamps, Making Memories Glitter alphas, Bumble Bee Crafts Organza flowers, buttons and a tag...An effective way to make you background look stamp is by using bubble wrap with some paint I used Making Memories Cranberry.

The next two layouts are done one Making Memories Just Chillin papers these papers are perfect for anyone who loves the look of doodling but is to scared to give it a go...by using water colour pencils and crayons you can make these papers come alive.

When I first saw the Bo Bunny Love Shack papers I knew they would be perfect for my daughters fairy photos. These beautiful papers have a distress self pattern look to them but in bright cheery colors. By layering these papers and adding some glitter and a SBLC chipboard fairy I had a completed fairy page of my daughter and her friends.

The added bonus of these papers is they are double sided put them together with the epoxy brads, buttons, flowers, rub-ons, chipboard and stickers and you will create those jaw dropping layouts, cards and off the page projects

3 BUGS SPREAD YOUR WINGS

Don't throw away any of your scraps these can be used to make a simple but effective card

I love using chipboard the possibilities are endless with what you can do with it. On this flower stem I have sewn buttons onto the centres of the circles and then added some white paint and sprinkled some glitter onto it while still wet.

To make the bird cages stand out carefully cut them out with a sharp knife then add some 3D dots to give them extra dimension finish of with some Scrapware Chipboard picket fences and tree

Ali Edwards DAYS OF DECEMBER ALBUM

I have been scrapping for 8 years and the main thing I have noticed with my layouts is the lack of journalling I use to journal and record every little detail. Last year while I was looking at Ali Edwards Blog I came across her Days of December Album I was inspired by this album so much so that I did it and i have to say I have I really enjoyed it. This album got me out of my comfort zone and made me start journalling. Everyday I made sure I did a Christmas activity with my children we did everything from Making gingerbread men, choc royal plum puddings, candy cane reindeer's, visited the Myers Christmas Windows, Christmas Carols I even tried two attempts to make a gingerbread house and failed the list goes on and on.

The best part about this album is that you use all different brands of Christmas papers and embellishments and seeing all of the new Christmas products that Bumble Bee are bringing in I will be defiantly doing it again this year. I love mixing the old and new products. Last years album I covered in my favorite patchwork fabric, and what was suppose to be 1 page per day sometimes ended into be 2 pages per day but I have to say that I love my album and so do the children they love reading about last years Christmas adventure as they call it.

Trade Classes with International Tutor Lance Anderson from Rusty Pickle

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the Trade Classes held at our warehouse recently and those who came and popped in to see us whilst they were in Brisbane at the recent June Show held in Brisbane.

A fun and informative day was had by all and we would like to thank you all for your continued business.
